A l’occasion de La Bibliothèque grise, ch. 4 : Objets parlants, au Centre d’art contemporain La Ferme du Buisson, cette parution retranscrit une conversation à plusieurs voix réunissant chercheurs·ses, critiques d’art, pédagogues, agronomes et artistes. Ces paroles ont été recueillies lors d’un repas organisé par Jérôme Dupeyrat et Laurent Sfar autour d’une nappe-édition et d’un service de table retranscrivant une enquête sur la transition agro-écologique, présents dans l’exposition à la Ferme du Buisson. Il y est aussi question de livres, de lecture et de pédagogie, autant de domaines qu’explore La Bibliothèque grise.

Digressions est une collection initiée en 2017 par Julie Pellegrin et l’équipe du Centre d’art contemporain en partenariat avec les éditions Captures. Par le biais de conversations avec les artistes invités, les carnets donnent accès aux coulisses des projets et témoignent des réflexions, des recherches, des méthodologies et parfois des doutes ou des tâtonnements qui nourrissent un processus de travail.

At the occasion of La Bibliothèque grise, ch. 4: Objets parlants (The Grey Library, chapter 4: Speaking Objects), at La Ferme du Buisson, Centre for Contemporary Art, the publication is a record of conversation between researchers, art critics, educationists, agronomists and artists. During a meal organised by Jérôme Dupeyrat and Laurent Sfar, discussion revolved around an investigation into the agro-ecological transition, summed up on a tablecloth-publication and a dinner service presented for the exhibition at La Ferme du Buisson. Also under discussion were books, reading and pedagogy, all of them fields explored by La Bibliothèque grise.

The Digressions series has been initiated in 2017 by Julie Pellegrin and the Centre for Contemporary Art team with Captures éditions. Through conversations with guest artists, the notebooks give behind the scenes access and bear witness to reflections, research, methodologies and sometimes the doubts and the trial and error that feed the working process.
